Jordyn Jimenez

Jordyn is an innovative professional with an extensive and diverse background. As a Surface Landman, he works at the intersection of oil, gas, water, RNG (renewable natural gas), and carbon sequestration. His commitment to sustainable energy is evident in his mission: to work in partnership with the land and bring clean, renewable energy solutions to the public and the community.
Jordyn’s journey began at Western Colorado University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a minor in Energy Management. Armed with knowledge and passion, he embarked on a career path that reflects his values and aspirations.
His professional experiences:
As a Full-Time Landman: As a full-time Landman at Livingstone, LLC, Jordyn plays a crucial role in managing land assets related to energy production. His expertise extends to negotiating leases, conducting title research, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Solar Installer: Jordyn’s seasonal role at Nunatak Alternative Energy Solutions in 2022, allowed him to contribute directly to the adoption of clean energy. He installed solar panels on rooftops and off-grid systems, bridging the gap between technology and sustainability.
Server, Busser, and Bartender: Jordyn began his journey in 2017-2019 at The Melting Pot in 2019 as a busser and server assistant. Over time, he took on various roles, including drink runner, cocktail server, and barback. His adaptability and willingness to learn led him to spend time in the kitchen doing prep work when he was injured.
In 2021, Jordyn worked at PieZans which honed his customer service skills. Whether serving drinks or assisting patrons, he brought his positive attitude and attention to detail to the forefront.
Zero Waste Assistant: Jordyn actively participated in campus sustainability efforts in 2020 at Western Colorado University. He collected and sorted recyclables, ensuring that waste was diverted from landfills and properly processed.
Tile Specialist: In 2020, Jordyn was engaged with clients seeking tile solutions. He guided square footage calculations, budget constraints, and even design ideas. His ability to think holistically about projects made him an asset to customers.
Rail Jam: Beyond his professional endeavors, Jordyn was the coordinator for 3 years of the entire event of Rail Jam. He was the one who planned and got funding and sponsorships to have the event on campus for the students and community members. His love for adventure and community shines through in this extracurricular pursuit.
