Greg Zowarka
LANDMAN
Greg is a man whose journey weaves through land management and culinary arts.He is a Certified Professional Landman (CPL) with Master's Degree in Business Administration. He mastered the art of deciphering titles, unraveling mineral estates, navigating complex leasehold research, negotiating leases, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to oil and gas exploration and production.
Certified Professional Landman: Since 2006, Greg has conducted Title, Mineral Estate, and Leasehold research, prepares and presents report findings, and engages in negotiation and preparation of Mineral and Right of Way Leasing for various clients for Crasheil Resources, Inc. and Conquista Ridge Resources. He did the same for Engelmann Land Services, LLC in 2017 and has contributed to creating the Sovereignty Run Sheet.
Teaching and Private Chef: Gregory wears his chef’s hat, conducting cooking classes for home cooks. His classes are a delightful blend of recipes, techniques, and tips, making meal and party preparation enjoyable and stress-free. As a private chef, he caters to discerning palates. Gregory also authored the NO FEAR COOKING cookbook, available on Amazon.com.
He also became an Adjunct Faculty in the University of Houston Victoria in 1998. His classroom resonated with topics like Intermediate Accounting, Cost Accounting, Principles of Management, Quality Management, International Management, Leadership, and Money and Banking. His passion for teaching ignited minds, shaping future business leaders.
Vice President of Operations: Gregory’s leadership extended to long-term care facilities, specifically in the Arboretum Group in 1986 where he balanced budgets, navigated regulatory waters, and fostered seamless collaboration between accounting and operations. In 1884, Seven restaurants hummed under Gregory’s watchful eye. His responsibilities spanned the entire spectrum of restaurant operations in MACCO/Fairmont Restaurants.
Restaurant and Hospitality Industry: Greg’s journey reflects a blend of creativity, leadership, and culinary passion. In 2003, he conceptualized and developed a restaurant named Operating Partner of Zowarka’s Restaurants Victoria. The restaurant opened its doors under his guidance in 2024, and as the managing partner, he oversaw day-to-day operations, including personnel management, training, advertising, financial matters, and accounting.
Prior to the restaurant’s launch, Gregory served as a consultant for various franchisees, conducting training seminars across San Antonio, Houston, and Galveston.
Greg supervised the operations of four McDonald’s restaurants in 1999. His responsibilities spanned personnel management, training, budgeting, strategic planning, business development, and franchise relations. His commitment to excellence led him to attend McDonald’s corporate management development training, including Hamburger University.
He received the Golden Archie (Highest Rank in Class) in regional training programs and placed third in a class of four hundred at Hamburger University in Chicago.
Greg became an Executive Manager in Tinsley Dinner House Group in 1981 and his expertise was instrumental in opening a new restaurant and overseeing the remodel and concept revision of another.
